This art residency offers two simultaneous quotas in July and September:
1. One for visual arts.
2. One for performing arts.
Location
The residency will take place in Asunción, in the cultural center Espacio E, and on a farm called Las Aguadas. The farm is located in a rural area called Kariy Potrero, located between Cordillera and Caaguazú. In this way, resident artists will acquire more complex and in-depth experiences of Paraguay during their stays.

Scholarships
Thanks to the support of Goethe Zentrum and the Instituto Cultural Paraguayo-Alemán, we are able to offer two scholarships that cover the Residency’s costs for 1 visual artist and 1 performing artist. This exonerates the two selected artists from paying the Residence fees. It does not include travel costs and personal expenses. Every artist may choose to be considered for the scholarships on the Open Call form.
Costs
For artists without scholarships, the Residence fees are US$900.00.
Program
Day 1: Transfer from airport or bus terminal to Espacio E.
Days 1 -5: Tour of cultural sites of interest in Asunción (museums, cultural centers, galleries and tourist spots).
Day 6: Transfer to Las Aguadas.
Days 7-23: Elaborate art projects in Las Aguadas. Tour of sites of cultural interest in nearby cities (Itacurubí de la Cordillera, Caacupe, Eusebio Ayala).
Day 24: Transfer to Espacio E.
Days 25-29: Development of artists' counterpart (workshop, seminar or exhibition) and ensuing disassembly, if required.
Day 30: Send off and transfer to airport or bus terminal.
